  • Vehicle sales are on track to set a fourth straight annual record this year as the economy is buoyed by low interest rates and record migration. A total of 118,256 vehicles have been registered in the past nine months.
  • KiwiRail has won the supreme award at the AUT Business School Excellence in Business Support Awards. The railway operator was praised for its resilience and ability to quickly establish alternatives to disrupted networks, as it did after the Kaikoura earthquake.
  • And the first ship of the 2017/18 cruise season has visited Wellington’s Centreport. CEO Derek Nind says Wellington stands to benefit from another bumper season.
